Do you have questions about your physical therapy or your prescription? Take a look at our FAQs—you'll find answers to the most common questions there.
General Information
I'm having surgery soon—what should I do?
It's great that you're already taking care of your post-operative care! 💪
The sooner we can plan your therapy after your surgery, the better—this way, we lay the groundwork for a structured and effective recovery.
To give you the best possible start, you can book your appointments with us even before your surgery—no prescription needed.
This way, we can secure your preferred times before the schedule fills up.
If you could just ask your doctor what kind of prescription they’ll write for you (e.g., physical therapy and manual lymphatic drainage), we’re all set to go!
I've never had physical therapy before—how does it work?
Hey, don't worry 🙂
On your first visit, just check in at our front desk with your prescription.
Our front desk team will help you with any organizational questions and make sure everything is ready.
Once that’s done, your physical therapist will meet you in the waiting area.
The first session always starts with a consultation to discuss your medical history and assess your symptoms or injury. This helps us pinpoint exactly what your body needs and how we can best support you on your journey.
Note: If anything is unclear to you during the treatment, be sure to ask!
Your physical therapist will explain everything you want to know—we want you to feel completely at ease.
Do I have to pay extra for this?
All of our physical therapy services are covered by statutory health insurance as medical treatments. The law requires a copayment of €10 plus 10% of the prescription cost. This copayment must be paid on the first day of treatment before the session begins. Please remember to bring your debit card; only cashless payments are accepted.
Note: This copayment is required by law and applies to those with statutory health insurance.
How long is my prescription valid?
A prescription from the statutory health insurance (GKV) is valid for 28 days from the date it was issued (so treatment must begin within this period).
Note: If your prescription is no longer valid, simply ask your doctor to correct the date 😊
Do you also offer rehabilitation sports or functional training?
Unfortunately, no. We currently do not offer rehabilitation sports or functional training through a doctor's prescription.
Do you also accept out-of-pocket payments for therapy?
Unfortunately, no. We do not offer services for self-paying patients.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring the following items to your appointment: prescription, workout clothes, clean athletic shoes, a towel, and any medical reports you may have. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
How can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
If you’re unable to make an appointment or would like to reschedule, that’s no problem! Just reply to our WhatsApp message or email. We’ll get back to you.
In the event of last-minute cancellations or no-shows, we reserve the right to bill you privately for the missed appointment.
