Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have questions about your physical therapy or your prescription? Take a look at our FAQs—you'll find answers to the most common questions there.

What do I need to bring to my physical therapy appointment?

Please bring the following items to your appointment: prescription, workout clothes, clean athletic shoes, a towel, and any medical reports you may have. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

To reduce your wait time, you can send us a photo of your prescription via WhatsApp or email before your appointment. This allows us to take care of the paperwork in advance. Thank you for your cooperation!

How can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

If you’re unable to make an appointment or need to reschedule—no worries! Just let us know as soon as possible via WhatsApp or email. Please note: In the event of repeated last-minute cancellations, we reserve the right to bill you privately for the appointment.

Will my health insurance cover my physical therapy?

All of our physiotherapy services are covered by statutory health insurance as therapeutic measures. The law stipulates a co-payment of €10 + 10% of the prescription value. This must be paid on the first day of treatment before your treatment begins. Please remember to bring your debit card for the co-payment—only cashless payment is possible.

Aydrian – Cruciate ligament rupture while playing handball

Sometimes in sports, nothing goes according to plan. That was the case for Aydrian: he tore his cruciate ligament in the regional handball league—season over, surgery instead of game day. During the operation, a cruciate ligament graft was inserted, and his long road back to the playing field began.

Kaya – Soccer Injury

A cruciate ligament injury and a thigh strain in soccer can put everything on hold overnight. Even for Kaya in the district league, it quickly became clear after her injury: it’s not just about being pain-free again, but about returning to the field feeling secure, strong, and with renewed confidence.

Sina – Shoulder injury while playing volleyball

One small moment in the game is enough, and suddenly nothing works as it did before. That's exactly what happened to Sina while playing volleyball: she tore the labrum in her shoulder. The joint lip had to be surgically reattached, and the focus after the operation was clear: to make the shoulder stable, resilient, and ready for everyday life again.

Janeke – Cruciate Ligament Injury

Sometimes the road back to sports feels endless. That’s exactly how it was for Janeke: After her injury and two cruciate ligament surgeries, her dream of a comeback seemed out of reach. With hard work, plenty of team spirit, and a healthy dose of humor, she fought her way back, step by step, to her favorite activity: handball.

Siljan – Cruciate Ligament Tears in Competitive Sports

A torn cruciate ligament in competitive sports suddenly changes your whole outlook. That’s exactly what happened to Siljan: He had actually been planning to take the next step toward competitive sports, but the knee injury brought him to an abrupt halt. The dream of playing lacrosse at the highest level seemed a distant prospect for the time being. Step by step, he fought his way back to his favorite activity: with his eyes firmly fixed on the future and a big dream in mind: the 2028 Olympics.
