Head of Back Office and Front Desk Team

Starting out with a part-time job at the front desk, Renée now oversees the entire back-office and front-desk team at REHAFABRIK. Her job is to ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so that the therapists can focus fully on their patients.

What did you do before REHAFABRIK?

At first, I studied art and cultural studies, but I quickly realized it wasn’t for me. On the side, I worked a lot in the restaurant industry. That definitely teaches you organizational skills, how to handle stress, and how to interact with all kinds of people. On my second try, I ended up in physical therapy—and right at REHAFABRIK. This time, it was a perfect fit from the start!

What does your typical workday at REHAFABRIK look like these days?

I realized fairly early on that I particularly enjoy the processes involved in therapy planning. Because it became clear to me: therapy can only be as good as its organization.
Today, I’m responsible for our entire back-office and front-desk team. We work behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly at our locations—schedules, organization, structure—so that the therapists can focus fully on their patients.

It really never gets boring here! 😄 I started with a 450-euro-a-month job at the front desk—and back then, I never would have imagined how much it could lead to. Step by step, I took on more responsibility. And that’s exactly what makes it special for me: You get the chance to grow if you want to. And above all: You’re never alone.
